I managed to understand how to use it googling about 0.5 - 1 hr (the manual is very poor).
1) To set up the date connect the pen to your PC, create the file time.txt in the root folder and put the date in the format as follows:
2012-01-16 15:01
Safely remove the USB disk and voila, time and date are set up.
2) Switching the pen from photo to video mode and vice versa: open your pen, find the small switch near the USB plug switch it, close the pen.
Cons:
---Low build quality. The pen I received had some scratches on the body (approx. 5-7 scratches)
---Poor manual (5 abstracts) in Chinese and machine translated English (very hard to understand)
